We are seeking a Senior (Cloud) Security Consultant with a strong technical security background and extensive experience to assess security challenges and provide expert guidance to business units regarding their cloud workloads. The ideal candidate will have expertise in multi-cloud environments, cloud security and compliance frameworks, cloud-native security tools, IAM, secure architecture, modern CI/CD pipelines, and security automation. Additionally, demonstrated soft skills are required to influence DevOps teams and IT managers towards enhanced security awareness and best practices.

The current team consists for 7 internal employees. This is a consultancy role with a technical foundation:

• You will translate CISO policies into practical, actionable advice for over 100 DevOps teams.
• You will advise business and DevOps teams on the secure implementation of their cloud workloads.
• You will bring an "outside-in" perspective and share best practices to help the team grow.
• There is a specific focus on advising on secure cloud setups, performing threat modeling, and analyzing configuration checks within the infrastructure layer.

Responsibilities

• Assist business/devops teams to migration their workload to public cloud and container platform with right security quality and validate their implementation
• Secure containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
• Perform threat modeling in the system architecture to find and to mitigate threats
• Analize cloud security non-compliances to determine their root causes and define solutions to address the root causes of non-compliance and validate the implementation
• Collaborate with the cloud platform engineering team to design and integrate into day-by-day operation (operationalize) new cloud security features and services
• Manage vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in a regular basis
• Implement cloud security solutions to help the team with hands on expertise on WAF, End Point Protect, System Hardening and IAM.
• Analyse technical security questions and provide right advice and measure
• Create templates, automations and paved roads to facilitate scalable and faster delivery
• Working with the modern ci/cd pipeline and security toolings in the pipeline for automated security checks to uphold DevSecOps practices
• Support security training and awareness programs when needed.

Must have Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in security consultation role
• Minimum 3+ years experience in AWS and Azure cloud platforms security
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and Container security
• Experience with GitHub pipelines and integrating security tooling with CI/CD

Preferred skills

• Understanding of DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and IAM Permissions
• Solid understanding of monitoring and observability for secure cloud systems.
• Excellent analytical ability in complex system setups in a corporate environments
• Naturally curious with a track record of proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Understanding of AI workload and AI security is preffered
• Security certification like CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security specialty is desirable
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team environment.
• Social skills for providing advice, generating support at higher management level
• Autonomous, driven, with strong ability to quickly adapt and respond to changes
