The team safeguards the core of digital infrastructure. They ensure that Risk, Security and
Compliance standards with regards to Oracle Databases are consistently met. From access and identity
management (OID/OUD) to vulnerability management and privileged access control.

They collaborate closely with stakeholders to manage demand, align priorities and continuously improve
They ensure seamless and secure operations across servers, storage, operating systems, databases, networks and end user & application protection”. So basically, they’re the backbone, making sure the application teams can make use of their services.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, test and maintain automation solutions that improve Oracle database infrastructures security and compliance. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across DevOps teams, always seeking smarter ways to work.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Engineer solutions to secure the infrastructure, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and integrate these solutions into the Rabobank infrastructure.
  • Ensure high quality, continuity, security, and stability of our environment
  • Collaborate closely with other DevOps teams and the Product Owner.
  • Act as an enthusiastic and inspirational team member, helping and coaching the squad to improve their development and Ansible skills.

Requirements

  • You are a developer with strong expertise in Ansible, , including use of tools like VS Code.
  • You are skilled in developing and managing workflows for the provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of Linux-based infrastructures.
  • Extensive knowledge of automating deployments, developing, and testing code.
  • Enthusiasm for automation tools and technologies, such as Azure DevOps, APIs, and REST interfaces — even when it comes to automating smaller, simpler tasks.
  • Experienced in working with LDAP, EUS and, preferably OUD or OID
  • Profound experience about Data at rest, e.g. Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and in transit (TLS) and Message Security
  • Oracle Linux knowledge

Nice-to-have or willing to learn:

  • Python
  • Knowledge and experience of Oracle FMW and WebLogic
  • Experience in coding in Python
  • SCIM and IAM knowledge
  • DBA practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of OEM, Splunk and CyberArk
