Our History
In 2011 Magno IT was founded by Debby, specialised in Sales and Recruitment, Gerard, specialised in Financial & Contract Management and Lara, specialised in IT. We offer a wide range of recruitment services to hiring clients and job hunting candidates in the IT domain.
The combination of our expertise enabled us to develop unique and uniform processes for resourcing, recruitment and aftercare with a strong focus on quality management. Magno IT recruitment and account management teams all excel following the same processes, which allow them to work together in a very efficient and fun way. As a family company, we always encourage our teams to share their knowledge, experience and network with colleagues in order to get the best results in our recruitment efforts.

Our Team
DEBBY DE GROOT
Having co-founded Magno IT seven years ago, I became the CEO in 2017. I have managed the transition of Magno IT from a start-up of three people to a company that is servicing large international organisations as a Tier 1 supplier in IT Recruitment.
LARA DE GROOT
As a little girl my affinity with automation became apparent when I shoved my father and the manual of the new videorecorder aside one Sinterklaas-eve and installed the device. In the nine years after obtaining my Computer Science degree in 2002 I worked in technical positions in an ambitious software development company.
MANON HUIJBERS
My name is Manon and since September 2014 I am a part of the amazing Magno IT team here in Baarn. Before developing myself within Magno IT I studied Human Resource Management. It’s not without a reason that I decided to join Magno IT, as it was already clear to me during my studies that I wanted to continue in Recruitment.
IRA DE CASTRO
I came to join the team at Magno IT Recruitment in 2019. Since then I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience in the field, enough to grow into the team lead of the recruitment team. Leading my team and guiding them throughout our processes at MagnoIT brings me joy as I like being able to help people – also one of the reasons I decided to become a recruiter in the first place; because I wanted to help people find the right jobs.
LUANNA BITTENCOURT
I am from a part of the world where people don’t wear shoes, only Havaianas-a small beach village located on the North coast of Sao Paulo. After my studies, I moved to Ireland in search of new challenges. There I studied Business Administration and met my Dutch boyfriend. After having lived in Ireland for a couple of years, we decided to move to the Netherlands.
