We are looking for a CPE Test Engineer to join the team in Infosys’ program for the Connectivity Platform.
Â
Roles and Responsibilities:
Â
- Test planning, test execution, and reporting for CPE and its services validation.
- Interact with multiple stakeholders, Project Manager, Technical contract management teams and Vendors across the board to for connectivity CPE certification.
- CPE lab setup, lab management, for broadband CPEs, wireless gateways and extenders.
- Good testing skills to bring in efficiencies in the network, device quality.
Required:
Â
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area of study or equivalent work experience.
- At least 6 years of working experience in manual testing, troubleshooting and lab setup/support in CPEs, Networking, wireless and voice services.
- Domain knowledge on DOCSIS, Fiber, CPEs, Wi-Fi 5, Device management, LAN/WAN, IPv4/6 and Wi-Fi 6.
- Hands on experience in network test tools, traffic generators, performance, and stability testing,
- Proven network troubleshooting experience.
Preferred:
Â
- At least 3 years of working experience with Broadband CPE Testing
- Strong knowledge of IP networking to work to Setup, Configuration and Troubleshooting of In-Home devices
- Proven ability to deliver high quality results in a busy and dynamic business focused environment.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology ideally in a fast-paced DevOps environment
- Network, device automation scripting, python.
