What is the project about?
As a Senior Business Consultant within the BSS transformation program, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and translating business requirements into End-to-End (E2E) solution designs. You act as a bridge between the business and the (agile) construction teams and ensure that the solutions meet both the functional and technical requirements of the organization.

Core tasks and responsibilities:

• Retrieving and analyzing requirements: Working intensively with business stakeholders to identify requirements and wishes and prioritize them.
• Translating into E2E solution designs: Drafting clear and detailed E2E solution designs, translating functional and non-functional requirements into realizable solutions.
• Stakeholder management: Acting as a link between business, IT, architecture and agile teams. Involving relevant stakeholders to create support and commitment.
• Supporting agile teams: Explaining and clarifying solution designs and requirements to development teams (scrum teams), and supporting implementation.
• Process optimization: Identifying opportunities for improvement within processes and systems, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the BSS environment.
• Documentation: Ensuring clear and up-to-date documentation of requirements, solution designs and decisions.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the consistency and quality of the solution within the larger BSS landscape.

Job requirements for all suppliers

• Completed college or university education, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science or similar.
• At least 10 years of experience as a business consultant or business analyst in complex (telecom/IT) environments, preferably in the field of BSS.
• Demonstrable experience in drafting E2E solution designs and translating business requirements into IT solutions.
• Experience with agile/scrum working methods and working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical skills, helicopter view and the ability to quickly get to the heart of an issue.
• Experience with stakeholder management at different levels (business, IT, management).
• Knowledge of and experience with telecom processes and BSS systems.
