What is the project about?
An international financial services organization is expanding its foundational core banking platform and is looking for a Business Analyst to support the growth, governance, and development of shared services across its digital ecosystem. The environment is rapidly evolving in both scale and technical complexity, requiring strong coordination between platform capabilities and integrations with surrounding systems.
The Business Analyst will contribute to defining future improvements, ensuring operational stability, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. The role focuses on safeguarding solution quality from design through implementation.
In this position, you will operate within a global technology domain focused on core banking Flexcube services. You will collaborate closely with product stakeholders, technical teams, and control functions across multiple regions. The role involves balancing business objectives, regulatory expectations, and technical feasibility.
Key activities include:
- Supporting strategic direction and continuous improvement of flexcube-based services
- Monitoring and coordinating roadmap initiatives for shared functionality across system landscapes
- Translating business requirements into functional designs and technical specifications
- Ensuring delivered solutions meet quality, compliance, and risk standards
- Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and governance functions
- Contributing to cross-regional implementation and flexcube upgrade from 12.3 to 14.8.1
- Supporting the development and maintenance of system interfaces and API services
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate or wholesale banking environments
- Good knowledge of Flexcube and its different modules
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, and traditional interface technologies
- Ability to create functional designs and translate business needs into technical requirements
- Understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory considerations within financial systems
- Experience coordinating product or platform development initiatives
- Ability to influence stakeholders and provide advisory support to senior leadership
