Moodle Configuration Expert

General information
Start date:                         No later than 15 August 2025, preferably by 1 August
End date:                           For 2 months with option to extend, if required
Working hours:                32-36 hours per week with a minimum of 16 hours
Location:                           Amsterdam (50% in the office)

The DNB has created a training course on the Moodle platform (LMS) for Dutch retailers who want to offer cash-in-shop, and who need to have their staff certified for this. Cash-in-shop means that consumers can withdraw money from a retailer (in addition to Geldmaat). Cassiers and cashiers must have followed an online training course and then passed an exam on recognizing counterfeit money. After that, they will receive a digital certificate (PDF) that is valid for 3 years.
DNB has taken over and translated the training from the Banco de Portugal. The training and certification is made in the Moodle platform. There are still a number of things to be completed; this concerns all configuration work in Moodle
Work to be done in Moodle:

• Apply the look and feel of DNB Corporate Identity in the “Training Tool” o.b.v. HTML and CSS
• Setting up a quiz in which different random questions are presented – existing Moodle functionality (configuration required)
• Issue certificate and store data for 3 years in Azure SQL Database – existing Moodle functionality (configuration required)
• Integration with DNB authentication module (OAuth2) for user login – Moodle Plugins

Requirements:

• Minimum HBO thinking and working level
• More than 2 years of work experience with:
• Moodle Learning Management Systems
• Opensource software in PHP / HTML
• CSS/frontend development

Wish

• Certifications in Moodle Learning Management Systems
• Specific Moodle experience with:
• Quiz
• Certification/exam
• Integration with authentication
• CSS (styling, look & feel)
• Experience Tomcat (on Windows; Moodle runs on Tomcat)
