Weblogic Application Support Engineer

• VISA sponsorship:           Yes, but you need to live in EU at the time of application
• Provided salary:               €4.300 – €6.200 gross per month

What is the position about?
You will work in the heart of the clients IT Systems domain, managing and supporting their Weblogic application platforms. You will contribute to the implementation of the clients new back office system for Wholesale and International domain in their regions Asia, Europe and Americas where the clients Wholesale has over 20 branches offering wholesale banking services.
The teams provides 24/7 support to the different global regions and you will partake in the rotation as well.

Your team continuously strives to improve themselves and give each other the possibility to learn and fail. You will work with senior, medior and junior engineers who can teach you the best practices in the field. Fun, ownership and trust in each other form the fundament of our team.

Job requirements

• Hands on experience with deployment and support of Weblogic 12.2.1.3&4, SOA/BPM/ADF, OHS12.2.1.3, OTD 12.2.1.3&4, Oracle DB 19c and SQL/PLSQL;
• Knowledge of and experience with Agile, Lean and ITIL;
• Applicable knowledge of and experience with the combination of business domain and related IT chains;
• You focus on automating work in and around the team;
• You are able to ensure controlled change – in accordance with quality standards and the required non-functional – of the applications using the standard processes (change-, release management);
• You can carry out activities in the area of automated (test) environment coordination and life cycle management;
• You have experience in implementing the Global Application Management processes, tools and procedures.;
• You are happy to participate in standby shifts and weekend deployments.

Some other technologies you might work with / Nice to have:

• Linux and Flexcube 12.3 & 14.5 are a big plus;
• Azure, Splunk, HPSM9, would be a pré;
• Python knowledge would be a plus.
