The organization indicates that it has a no-nonsense culture. The office building is functionally furnished and is located right next to the highway and next to the train station.
Within the team you have a lot of freedom and a lot of responsibility. There is no micromanaging or strict KPI control. You sit in your own driver’s seat and thus make a strong contribution.

As a ServiceNow Consultant, you will have full focus on configuring and optimizing ServiceNow. Creating new requests and/or incident types, adjusting Workflows and improving user-friendliness and the On and Offboarding process are part of your daily activities. Building and maintaining API links to ticket systems of (external) solution groups is also part of your job. In addition to the change work in ServiceNow, managing the ServiceNow suite (including APIs) is also part of your job. This can mean that you participate in the 24-hour support. From time to time, you will direct the implementation party to configure and activate new components of ServiceNow. You do all this in direct collaboration with the various groups of reporters and solvers. You are able to take on configuration and script work yourself, but you also sink your teeth into achieving a result. A broad role, in other words, that challenges you to look beyond the long application you manage. And where possible, it certainly offers the opportunity to broaden your field of work to other configurable applications.

Your tasks include:

  • Manage, configure, and optimize ServiceNow and possibly other tools;
  • Mapping and improving the incident and request process;
  • Optimising asset management and authorization flows and configuring them;
  • Coordinating with reporter groups and resolution groups;
  • Testing new functionality;
  • Coordinating with the implementation party;
  • Management of the ServiceNow suite (may also include 24-hour service)
  • Building and maintaining APIs
  • Taking the initiative to automate processes more, route tickets faster;
  • Takes care of the implementation of ICT (related) projects and the safeguarding of knowledge and architecture through good documentation;
  • You are able to combine projects with operational issues in a constantly changing environment with new challenges.

Here’s what to bring:

  • HBO working and thinking level;
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM / ITIL Module
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably 3 years or more
  • Demonstrated work experience configuring and managing ServiceNow;
  • Enthusiasm, accuracy, the ability to get others on board;
  • You have a healthy roll-up mentality;
  • You don’t mind working on-call and on-call shifts sometimes;
  • Knowledge of APIs and secure connections is a plus
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting is a plus;
  • Experience with JavaScript is a plus;
  • Experience with HelloID is a plus;
  • Proficiency in Dutch is required!
