What is the project about?
Join the dynamic, self-steering DevOps team of the bank as they seek an Oracle Infrastructure DevOps Engineer. You will be responsible for supporting, designing, building, and automating the  clients Oracle Exadata environment.

Responsibilities

• Engineer solutions to meet regulatory requirements and integrate them into the infrastructure and code automation environment.
• Develop infrastructure to support the CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Git, Ansible, and Python, making it accessible to customers.
• Participate in daily activities, including pipeline engineering, coding automation scripts, and creating new or adapted solutions for the banking organization.
• Operate and maintain the Oracle database infrastructure, primarily delivered on Oracle Exadata, with some on commodity hardware.
• Ensure high quality, continuity, and stability of critical banking applications, supporting both Dutch retail and global wholesale business.
• Occasionally work outside office hours during on-call shifts.
• Collaborate closely with other DevOps teams and the Product Owner.

Job requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer with a focus on Oracle and strong security expertise.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Exadata and ZFS infrastructure.
• Proficient in Oracle Enterprise Linux and virtualization technologies.
• Familiar with Oracle Internet Directory and LDAP.
• Solid understanding of networking, including firewalls.
• Extensive experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Azure DevOps, and Python.
• Passionate about automation (Ansible, Python, APIs, REST, PyTest, RSpec, etc.) and attentive to automating even the smallest tasks.
• Eager to share knowledge and experience with others.
• Strong understanding of the critical role of cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Capable of seeing the big picture while also focusing on complex integration issues.
• A collaborative team player, open to feedback for continuous improvement.
• Proficient in English (B2 level or higher).

• Experience with DevOps and working in Scrum (sprint planning, review, daily, retro).
• Experimental and Agile mindset.
• Preferable experience with ArcSight, Splunk, and Qualys.
• Service management (ITIL).
• Risk, security, and compliance.

• Requirement analysis and detailed design.
• Testing.
