What is the project about?
Seeking to add a new team member with a background (through experience or education) in taxation, fiscal economics, or accountancy, or experience with tax return software. The role concerns further developing this experience with practical taxation, client contact, and tax software.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving, registering, and handling customer notifications (“cases”) received by the department via phone, email, or CRM system. These inquiries can be categorized into the following areas:
- Tax-related questions
- Software functionality
- Software technical issues
- Access to online applications and their usage
For example, regarding Income Tax, VAT, Dividend, Schenken en erven and corporate tax.
- Analyzing issues related to customer inquiries. Through analysis, providing technically sound responses and documenting technical findings in writing.
- You maintain close contact with your colleagues from Support and Development, working together to enhance your knowledge of the various modules within the Tax software.
- Matching customer inquiries with the correct account, appropriate contact person, categorizing by content, and assigning to the correct support team or staff member.
- Documenting actions taken and outcomes of customer inquiries handled independently.
Job requirements:
- You have studied in the fields of accountancy, tax law, or fiscal economics.
- You have experience in preparing tax returns or working with tax return software.
- Proficient language skills and the ability to assess, interpret, categorize, and independently respond to or forward substantial email messages based on content and urgency.
- Good listening skills to assess, interpret, categorize, and independently respond to or transfer telephone inquiries based on content and urgency.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
- You are interested in business processes and their automation.
- You have strong analytical abilities and are customer-oriented and collegial.
