New roadmap projects and improvements on GCP as the current GCP contractor is leaving the company. Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services

Creating a cloud adoption framework to migrate the workloads to GCP, updating the current GCP landing zone, Create and maintain design guideline, and create solution design templates. Complex environments, Migrations to Cloud, Security and governance in the cloud.

Responsible for architecture and design, for Datacentre and public cloud environment, providing the right frameworks and blueprints for the cloud infrastructure. Make sure that the environments are designed in such a way that the meet the program / project scope and business requirements. Act as a technical lead during the project life cycle. Define and Document roadmaps for this domain.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather business and functional requirements
• Definition, Architecture and Design guidelines, to provide a uniform framework to build services upon
• Create and maintain design guidelines, to provide a uniform framework to build services upon
• Creation of Cloud Adoption Framework
• Solution designs
• Produce documentation for the engineering teams to build the solutions
• Provide steer on how to use code to model the designs and deployment, and provide the right level of abstraction, to drive the right decisions in architectures
• Work with operational / engineering and implementation Teams and propose new ideas of automation and be part of initiation of the coding
• Develop architectures for first – of type deployments into GCP cloud
• Drive POCs

Requirements

• GCP Solution Architect (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS and FaaS on GCP)
• Container Orchestration such as Kubernetes and Container platforms such as Docker.
• Automation, Infrastructure as code, CI/CD Automation and Configuration Management
• Deep technical knowledge and experience in GCP is a must, preferably holding relevant certifications (at least solution architect certification)
