IT Project Manager (Telco)

Project Scope
The senior IT project manager is accountable for end-to-end execution of (multiple) IT projects, managing the delivery of IT solutions according to agreed planning, budget and quality. Responsible for translating business scope into (technical) deliveries with internal and external suppliers. Shaping and structuring projects, the organization and delivery responsibilities within multi-domain projects.

Ensures delivery projects through a standardized and structured program management approach (project planning tools, project reporting, project management methodologies).

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• Managing successful (T,Q,€) delivery of IT solutions from SG2 onwards up until hand over to operations
• Accountable for seamless handover to operations
• Strong Business unit relationship within project scope
• Accountable to define and structure IT project dependencies.
• Accountable to deliver projects through a standardized and structured project management approach.

Job requirements

• +5 years of experience in an IT project management role
• Experienced in project management in multi-domains
• Solid knowledge of IT delivery, design and architecture within fixed/telecom environments (telco/cable)
• Understand the telecom business and their goals
• Able to understand the translation of business goals into technical and functional solutions
• Experience in budget control
• Agile attitude
