IT Integrator

Who is the customer?

The customer is an international financial organisation with their headquarters in Amsterdam. They have other office locations in Amersfoort, Utrecht and abroad. The office in Amsterdam offers job opportunities to nearly 10.000 people from over 50 different nationalities. They are most known for delivering mortgages and loans.

What is the position about?

The IT Integrator occurs as a Shared Service and will be working on IT issues that need to be realized by more than one block. You will work for one or more Grids belonging to one or more Business lines. You will also occur in a delivery contact of new technologies and resources to support the IT value chain.

The IT Integrator ensures that all technical aspects of changes within IT are coordinated. When the line (Delivery Lead, IT Leads, Product Owners) cannot oversee the (technical) complexity, an IT Integrator is called in. You ensure an optimal coordination between stakeholders such as (lead) Product Owners, Solution Engineers, Scrum Masters and IT Engineers in order to guarantee a smooth implementation. In this way, the integrator contributes to the maximization of the output of the IT organization in terms of speed, quality and business value.

The complexity lays in the technical IT aspects combined with the stakeholders. You need to negotiate timelines, priorities for multiple functional changes and/or applications simultaneously where there is mixed interest and limited technical knowledge of the stakeholders.

Coordination of cohesive functional changes and the associated technical dependencies between two or more Grids in order to implement them by the IT organisation asap, taken into account the technical (im)possibilities of the IT landscape. 

What is the location and duration of the project?

You may expect the first contract to be for 6 months – 12 months followed by a permanent contract.

**Remote working until further notice. Office is in Amsterdam area.

What are the main requirements?

  • +5 years of relevant work experience, including 3 to 5 years of experience in software development (e.g. Agile Scrum, DSDM, etc.), test and release methods and project management
  • Demonstrable work experience in complex changes in an Agile/Scrum environment (such as in large companies)         
  • Experience with Jira or other relevant Agile workflow systems
  • Knowledge of IT environmental factors such as coordination, architecture, infrastructure, security and software
  • Knowledge of business principles, marketing, Planning & Control, Risk management and cost management
  • Good Dutch speaking and writing
