DTC Capacity Planner

Responsibilities

• Manage the capacity for the datacenter footprint. Keep in track all the movements, developments and use of the datacenter infrastructure; VMware, Storage, Oracle, Solaris, Wintel etc.
• Managing patching at the right patch level from operating systems perspective
• Translating data to presentable reports
• Be the linking pin between the operational run team with the application/admin engineers and providing input to the dtc engineering teams that doing the new builds.
• Identifying gaps from analysis and propose recommendations to expand/buy extra capacity (not doing the operational work making changes or system admin, more on a identifying and recommendation level)
• Strategy/vision how to implement this in the BAU processes

Job requirements

• Understanding of at least two of the DTC Infrastructure technologies, f.e. Wintel, Oracle, Solaris, Storage, VMware..
• Understanding around SCCM, Red Hat Satellite and OEM etc.
• Good knowledge and experience of capacity planning in an infrastructure level
• Self-starter and well experience in stakeholder management
• Able to start in January 2021
